Many theme parks hire out pushchairs, but the price, the deposit and the availability vary widely, and a few parks don't rent at all. This guide lists what the parks say themselves, region by region, and when it's better to bring your own.

Last checked: November 2026. Prices come from each park’s own information, as recorded on our attraction pages or checked on the official site, and can change, so treat them as a guide and confirm before you rely on them. Currencies are shown as the parks list them.

Bringing a pushchair on a flight is a hassle, so many parents plan to hire one at the park. That works at many theme parks, but the price, the deposit and even the availability vary widely, and a few parks don’t rent at all. This guide lists what the parks themselves say. It isn’t exhaustive, and it covers only parks where we could find a specific rule.

Rent or bring your own?

 • Check age and weight limits. Europa-Park’s pushchairs need a child who can sit up, Legoland Japan lists a 1-month to 4-year range and 18 kg limit, and Everland lists 16 kg. A park pushchair may not suit a young baby.
 • Allow for the deposit. Several parks take a deposit or hold your ID, so bring what they ask for.
 • Don’t count on one in peak season. “Limited” and “first come, first served” can mean none are left later in the day. Book in advance where the park allows it.
 • Think about the journey. A hired pushchair won’t help on the way from your hotel or car park. Disneyland, for example, says rental strollers can’t go in the resort hotels or on parking lot trams or buses.
 • Bring your own if it fits the trip. Our guides to cabin-size travel strollers and gate-check bags can help with the flight. Check any park size limit first.

Final thoughts

Check the price, the deposit and the age or weight limit before you rely on a hired pushchair, and book ahead where the park allows it. If your child is very young, or the park doesn't rent, bring your own.
