Everland was founded in 1976 and is classed as both a theme park and an animal theme park, so the day splits between rides like T Express and animal zones such as Safari World, Zootopia and Lost Valley. Opening hours change by period rather than following one fixed timetable, and the park runs a calendar of themed festivals: Tulip Festival, Rose Festival, Summer Splash, Halloween Festival and Romantic Illumination.
Food ranges from park-run restaurants to snack stalls selling grilled green onion and chicken skewers, butter-grilled squid, cup tteokbokki, Korean-style slushies and churros, alongside outlets such as Starbucks. Baby service points sit at several spots, including next to Safari World and at Sky Cruise, though the park does not say whether each one has changing tables, nursing space or both.
Without a car, one route is the Bundang Line to Giheung, the EverLine light rail to its final stop, then a free shuttle bus to the gate; tour-agency shuttle buses also run from Seoul, but return times differ between listings and some routes run only at weekends.
One thing to plan around: bicycles, inline skates and kick boards are on the park’s restricted-items list, so leave the scooter behind.
