Genting SkyWorlds runs on dated and timed tickets bought before you arrive, so the day begins with choosing an arrival slot and building everything else around it. The park closes every Tuesday, except on Malaysian national public holidays and school holidays, which is the first thing to check your dates against. Inside, a Virtual Queue in the mobile app or at kiosks around the park reserves timed places for rides, attractions and shows, so a family can be sitting down somewhere while its turn moves closer. Payment is cashless, covering the Genting e-wallet, credit and debit cards and third-party e-wallets, with cash not listed as accepted, and lockers can be rented at a small fee for whatever cannot go on a ride. The trade-off is the ticket itself: it is non-refundable under any circumstances, weather included, and no request to change the date will be entertained, so a booking made weeks ahead carries the risk of the day you picked.
