Tivoli Friheden

Tivoli Friheden is Aarhus's amusement park, with a climbing park among the rides, a quiet baby-changing room by the main entrance and pull wagons to rent for small legs.

Booking
Tickets
Online tickets are valid only in the season they were bought, and entry tickets are not valid on Fed Fredag or Fed Lørdag after 17:00.
Climbing park
A climbing ticket costs 300 DKK including park entry on official opening days, or 120 DKK on top of a normal entry ticket; gloves are 30 DKK a pair.
Re-entry
Ask at Informationen for a free exit ticket; on normal days the day's ride wristband works as one.
Climbing limit
Klatreparken is not permitted for persons under 8 years and 110 cm; the park does not say whether both conditions must apply.
Pull wagons
Pull wagons can be rented for 50 DKK in the souvenir shop, against a 200 DKK deposit or ID.
Baby changing
A changing room with a sofa and microwave is in the main entrance buildings.
Food
Buffet restaurants SPIS and PitSa and Restaurant Madscenen are inside the park.
Getting there
Bus 18 stops right in front of the main entrance; lines 11, 13 and 16 stop about 350 m away.

Most of the practical help sits around the main entrance. The buildings there hold the baby-changing room, which has a sofa and a microwave and is a calm place to sit undisturbed, as well as lockers in several sizes. Pull wagons are rented in the souvenir shop, and wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge at Informationen against a deposit. For meals, the park has the buffet restaurants SPIS and PitSa and Restaurant Madscenen. MobilePay works at selected rides, though the park does not say which other payment points take it. If you need to step out and come back, ask at Informationen for a free exit ticket; on normal days the day’s ride wristband does the same job. The one thing to plan around is Fed Fredag and Fed Lørdag: on those evenings ordinary entry tickets stop being valid partway through the day, and no discounts apply.
