Silver Dollar City is an amusement park in Branson that has been open since 1960. The rides are only part of the day: the park also puts on shows and concerts, and for older children there is the Marvel Cave Lantern Light Tour, a paid add-on with a minimum age.
The season runs late into the year. Pumpkins In The City brings glowing autumn evenings, and An Old Time Christmas follows with its lights.
Those late-year weekends are also when planning matters most. Strollers and mobility scooters are rented subject to availability, and for weekends from October to December the park recommends reserving rentals at least two weeks before you arrive.
