LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has been open since 1996, and its ride rules are set one attraction at a time: each ride has its own height rule, and on most of them shorter children must also be accompanied by a responsible person. Alongside the rides is a group of attractions with no height restrictions, including Miniland, The Brick, Creature Creation, LEGO Studios 4D and the Model Making Studio.
Splash Safari and Drench Towers open from May half term to early September, typically from late morning to mid-afternoon, and their hours can change with the weather. At Splash Safari every child under six needs a supervising adult, and one adult can look after up to four children. Castaway Camp is an unsupervised play area, so children there must be watched by an adult the whole time.
Pushchairs can be hired from The LEGO Store at The Beginning; they can be pre-booked, but on the day they go first come, first served. Paths around the resort suit wheelchairs, though some sections are steep and may need extra help.
The park doesn’t open every day and hours vary by date, and ride queues close up to 30 minutes before the resort closes, so the time you can spend riding is shorter than the posted hours. Guests staying in the on-site hotels get Early Park Access to rides before normal theme park opening; day visitors start at the regular time.
Without a car, trains run from London Paddington via Slough to Windsor & Eton Central, or from London Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside; from stops near either station a chargeable shuttle bus, not run by the park, goes to the resort.
