Chapultepec Zoo sits inside Chapultepec Park, where neither the park nor the zoo charges admission. The thing to plan around is what you carry. Food, large bags and packages aren’t allowed in; you can check them at the entrance for a small fee, but the exit is on the opposite side of the zoo, so collecting them means a long walk back. Travel light and plan to eat at the food court inside, which has a range of fast-food options. The metro stops at the park’s edge, and the Turibus also stops in the park.
