Prague Zoo has more than one way in, including the main entrance and the Sklenářka entrance by the Dja Reserve, and lockers for hand luggage wait at all of them. You cannot book a visit: tickets are sold at the cash desks or online, and buying online is cheaper for both adults and children.
At the main entrance you can borrow a pushchair or a children’s wagon free of charge, as long as you leave an identity document. Wheelchairs can be borrowed there too, and blind visitors can pick up a tactile Braille map at the Information Centre by the same gate.
The trade-off to plan around is the cable car. It costs extra on top of admission and only runs when the weather and wind allow, so it may not be running on the day you visit.
Dogs may come along on a lead and properly vaccinated, but they are not allowed inside any of the indoor areas.
