Zoo Pilsen is a zoo and botanical garden in one site, sold as a single ticket. From April to October you can buy a combined ticket that adds DinoPark, but both parts have to be visited on the same day, so it suits a long day rather than two short ones.
Most of the grounds work with a stroller or a wheelchair. The exception is the upper part of the garden, where some sections are harder going and the zoo recommends taking the alternative routes. Storage boxes just inside the main entrance let you drop bags before you set off. Photography and filming are free; the zoo only asks you to switch off the flash, especially in exhibits with sensitive species and night-mode houses.
The trade-off is that there is no re-entry: once you leave the grounds the visit is over, and the ticket is not refunded. Plan the car, the picnic bag and any break outside the gates before you go in.
