Knuthenborg Safaripark mixes animal encounters with play stops. On the Abebussen, a bus ride through the baboon enclosure, the baboons jump around for the feed you bring them, and the feed is handed out only to children. Dinosaurskoven has prehistoric giants that move and make realistic sounds, Limpopoland is a play area open throughout park hours, and the water playground is for splashing, so pack swimwear. For meals there are Spisehus Mombasa, Restaurant Flintehuset and Abecaféen, with sweets from Limpopobutikken and Pangea Kaffe og Butik. Toilets with baby changing are spread across the park, but the one at Evolutionsmuseet is in the basement and is not an accessible toilet. The timing to plan around is the baboon bus: it runs in the morning only, except in the autumn school-holiday week when it runs into the afternoon, so head there first.
