The entry ticket covers more than the gate: the Museonder is included, and the park’s free white bicycles let a family cover far more ground than on foot, or you can rent a bike or bring your own. For children, the Belevingsroute is a family route of just over a kilometre that starts at the Museonder and is designed to make you experience nature a little differently. The ticket also lets you leave and come back on the same date. Food is spread around the park: Restaurant De Hoge Veluwe, which takes dietary and allergy requests into account, a food truck in the centre, the Theekoepel at Jachthuis Sint Hubertus and Theehuis De Kemperberg. Bring a bank card, though: the park entrances, the Theekoepel and Theehuis De Kemperberg take card only. Several of the walking routes are suitable for wheelchairs, and dogs are welcome on a leash.
