The Aquarium de Paris sits at Trocadéro, reachable by Metro at Trocadéro or Iéna and by RER C at Champ de Mars. Your ticket covers the shows and activities running on the day of your visit at no extra cost, and no booking is needed for them. Children can watch a short mermaid show in the performance hall, and the sharks are fed at the shark observatory in Zone 17.
The trade-off is that those shows are first come, first served: entry depends on the seats available, with no guaranteed place, so it pays to note the show times on arrival and turn up early for the one your children care about. On Saturdays the aquarium stays open into the evening for its Saturday Night Event, at a separate price.
Scooters, suitcases and large bags are not allowed in, but there are lockers in several sizes for coats and backpacks. Tickets cannot be refunded.
