OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

The Zuiderzeemuseum is split between two locations, the Schathuys and the village of ‘t Zuiderzeedorp, and one ticket covers both. The village is reached by the museum ferry, which leaves from NS Station Enkhuizen and from the museum car park, so arriving by train works without a car. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The trade-off for families with small children is the pram rule: the visitor terms only allow prams and buggies with the museum’s permission, so ask before you count on one. In October the village holds evening events with storm lanterns, music and entertainment, ticketed separately.
