The Tower of London is a set of buildings and exhibitions on one site. A standard admission covers all the open public areas: the Crown Jewels, the White Tower, the Bloody Tower, the Battlements, the Torture at the Tower exhibition, the Fusiliers Museum and the Royal Mint exhibition. The Yeoman Warder Tour is included as well, subject to availability, and it runs at regular intervals through the day.
Tower Hill is a vehicle-free zone, so you will arrive by Underground or walk in from a nearby car park. People who receive Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Pension Credit or certain other named benefits can buy day tickets at a nominal price. There is also a combined ticket with the Official River Tour. It costs more at weekends and in school holidays than on term-time weekdays.
The trade-off is the early-morning Ravens experience. It lets visitors skip the admission queue, but it is for adults only, so it is not an option if you bring the children.
