The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is based at Tanjong Pagar Distripark. The Learning Gallery sits on Level 1, in Gallery 2, and the same floor has the cafe, SIP at SAM, with a Calm Space next to it for anyone who needs a sensory rest between rooms. Visitors with low vision can pick up a tactile map at the gallery entrances.
The trade-off is that SAM’s hands-on programme, the SAM Touch Collection workshop, is not something a family can drop into: it is a group programme for specific access audiences, booked well ahead, and the museum can turn requests down.
