Tourist tickets cover the permanent galleries only, so the special exhibition Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal, Safavid and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre, running until 24 January 2027, is not part of that ticket. Daily guided tours are included, at various times through the day. Standard-size strollers can reach all the galleries, and the basement has a family washroom with a child-protection seat, baby changing and a nursing room with a hot water dispenser. The one thing to plan around is food: eating and drinking are not allowed inside the museum, and water bottles have to stay in your bag, so snack breaks happen outside. For a sit-down meal there is the Empress restaurant. The walk from Raffles Place MRT is short; drivers can only drop off, via Parliament Place and Old Parliament Lane behind Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall.
