Mudam has its own tram stop, Philharmonie / Mudam, and can also be reached by bus or the Pfaffenthal–Kirchberg funicular. Drivers can use the public underground car park near the entrance to Parc Dräi Eechelen, which has a maximum height clearance of 2 metres.
The trade-off is Monday. The museum is closed, and so is Chiche!, the café inside, which otherwise follows the museum’s hours, so a Monday in Luxembourg needs a different plan.
On other days the practical side is straightforward. There is a free cloakroom and lockers for ticket holders, for bulky items or anything not allowed in the galleries. Two manual wheelchairs can be borrowed at reception without booking. The museum says all its spaces are wheelchair accessible except one small room in the pavilion basement, and notes that some gallery spaces may be less accessible depending on the exhibition. On Wednesday evenings admission is free for all visitors, but only during the late opening at the end of the day.
