OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

Kellys’ Beach is the park’s best-known spot and draws the most visitors in July and August. Away from the sand there is a playground, a picnic area and a picnic shelter, and the park runs interpretive programs as another way to see it. The park itself is open year-round, but visitor services are seasonal: the visitor information centre covers the warmer months and the Pigeboogwek hub takes over in winter. The one thing to plan around: the Ryans Equipment Rental Centre is closed for the season, so there are no bicycle, canoe, kayak or paddleboard rentals in the park.

Why kids will love it

Children and teens enter free, and a playground and Kellys’ Beach give a family day outdoors an easy shape.
