OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

The Cabot Trail is open year-round. The park’s operating season runs from May to October, but full services are only offered in July and August. The Chéticamp Visitor Centre is an easy first stop: it has clean washrooms and coffee, and the grounds have a playground next to a quiet picnic area under the trees. Accessible washrooms are also available at the campgrounds. The Chéticamp day use area has an accessible kitchen shelter with a picnic table. According to the park, all of its viewpoints along the Cabot Trail are wide, paved and wheelchair accessible. That applies to the roadside viewpoints, not to the trails behind them.
