Wild Wadi is a water park in Dubai. Younger children have their own corner in Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon, designed for small splashers with slides and a giant tipping bucket. Older kids can work up through Master Blasters, which races through tunnels, to Tantrum Alley and Jumeirah Sceirah, a free-fall slide that reaches 80 km/h; the last two are rated high intensity. GoPro cameras are allowed on the rides with the strap attached, except on Jumeirah Sceirah. Lockers come in different sizes at different prices, though the prices are not stated, and towels can be rented. The trade-off is food: outside food and drinks are not permitted, so meals and snacks come from the park’s restaurants and kiosks. Staff are trained to support guests with cognitive and sensory needs, including autism, and sensory guides are provided.
