The penguins live in Penguin Cove, a habitat built over several levels with places for the gentoo penguins to climb and explore, including a slide into the pool. The Shark Walker cage takes visitors underwater in a helmet among the sharks and other marine life, with no scuba certification needed. For younger children, Mermaids of Arabia dresses them up as mermaids or pirates, with styled costumes, accessories and photo moments. The one thing to plan around: cage snorkelling has a minimum age, so younger siblings cannot join that part of the visit. On tickets, there is a four-for-three family deal, and season passes cover repeat visits without block-out dates.
