Tusenfryd is an amusement park founded in 1988 and a day trip from Oslo. Most families arriving by car will find the car parks laid out within walking distance of the main entrance, with chargers for electric cars among the spaces.
Inside, meals are spread across several restaurants, cafés and kiosks, and more than one of them serves gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, which helps if someone in the family eats differently.
The catch for families travelling with a dog: dogs cannot come into the park, apart from guide dogs. There are free, roofed outdoor cages for them outside, but only a limited number, so they are not guaranteed.
