Yorkshire Wildlife Park is an outside attraction, and the park itself advises dressing for it, with sturdy shoes. That is the trade-off: most of the day is spent outdoors. The counterweight is the Monkey Playhouse, a large multi-level indoor play area for children of all ages. Food is spread across several main eateries, with extra snack bars open in season, and café staff will try to accommodate special dietary requirements if you tell them. A limited number of single and double strollers can be hired from Guest Services, so availability is not guaranteed. During the summer season, which runs to 1 November 2026, booking online by midnight the day before is cheaper than paying on the day.
