The slide world runs on its own clock. On weekdays it opens in the afternoon, well after the rest of the building, and that is the one thing that can split a family day here into two halves wanting different arrival times; on days when Bavarian schools are closed it opens in the morning instead. Closing time is not the moment you get out of the water either. Bathing stops a while before the doors do, so the last part of the visit is drying and dressing rather than swimming. You are not obliged to book. On weekends, public holidays and school breaks the baths can stop admitting visitors, and a reservation made online is what carries you past a closed door on the day you chose.
