OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

Stirling Range National Park is an Australian national park listed on the Australian National Heritage List. If you arrive by car, you stop at the entry station on Bluff Knoll Road to pay, and the fee is charged per vehicle rather than per passenger unless you come in a large group vehicle. Around Bluff Knoll there is a parking area with picnic tables near the base of the mountain, and toilets are available at the Bluff Knoll Picnic Area. Dogs and other pets are not allowed anywhere in the park.

Why kids will love it

The trade-off is fire. On days of extreme fire danger, all visitors are strongly advised not to enter the bush or use the footpaths, so a day planned around a walk may need to change at short notice.
