OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

Experiment is the museum’s hands-on science area, pitched at all ages. Power Up, a hands-on gaming area, is a separate paid ticket and is recommended for ages 5 and over; families and small groups of 3–9 people, including at least one adult and one child, get money off each day pass. There is a café at the entrance, and packed lunches are welcome in the signposted indoor picnic area. The catch is bags: the lockers are currently unavailable, so whatever you bring comes round the galleries with you. Coming by tram, Deansgate-Castlefield is within walking distance.
