Puy du Fou is a theme park founded in 1989. A day here is built around its main shows and four reconstructed period villages, and because the site covers a large area, a shuttle called La Colporteuse stops near the villages and brings you closer to the main shows. Nine main shows headline the programme; a Pass Emotion, which has to be booked, guarantees access to the Emotion area until 10 minutes before each of them starts. Visitors with a valid CMI disability card can collect a Pass Accessibilité at the entrances for dedicated access at the main shows, though it does not guarantee a seat at a chosen performance, and under this scheme minors are not separated from an adult. Strollers can be hired for a daily fee near the entrances, just after the ticket check, but only subject to availability, which is why booking one by phone in advance is advised.
