Your own food does not come through the gates. What the park has instead is a picnic area just outside the main entrance, by Adventure Golf, and lockers at the park entrance where a packed lunch can wait until you want it. If you do go out to eat, tell a member of the team before you leave and they will stamp your hand so you can get back in quickly. It works, but it turns lunch into a trip out of the park and back rather than a bench beside the rides.
Book before the day if you can. Tickets bought after six in the morning on the day of the visit are charged at the park’s full gate rate, which is the reason the park gives for recommending you buy ahead.
