Parque Warner Madrid was founded in 2002 and is laid out like a studio backlot. Cartoon Village holds the Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo rides, Movie World Studios the stunt-show end of things, Gotham City the Batman and Joker attractions, and an Old West corner runs to mine carts, river rapids and a sawmill log flume. The practical consequence for a family is that the park sorts itself by height rather than by theme: the rides the park bills as its biggest are signposted for teenagers and adults, while almost everything carrying a low minimum stands together in Cartoon Village. Parents of a four-year-old and a twelve-year-old should expect to split up for part of the day rather than ride together. Restaurants are spread across the park, with coeliac and vegan dishes on the menu at a number of them, and a paid Pase Correcaminos is sold for shorter waits.
