Founded in 1999, PANACA is a theme park built around farm life in Colombia’s coffee landscape. The standard pass takes you round themed stations, hands-on Aulas Vivas workshops, live animal shows and direct contact with farm animals. Toddlers below the child-ticket height go in free. For older children there are paid extras on top: a canopy flight over the coffee landscape, Tibetan bridges, a tarabita cable crossing and horse rides, each with its own height rule. Food comes from the park’s food areas serving Colombian dishes. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays a separate evening show, Travesía, puts horses and performers on stage from 6:00 or 6:15 pm. The one thing you can’t plan around: every show in the park depends on the weather, so a wet day can cost you the part children come for.
