Lake Compounce is an amusement park in Bristol. The youngest children have their own corner in Circus World, the park’s kiddie land. Elsewhere there is a carousel, a Ferris wheel and a pirate ship, plus rides such as Boulder Dash, Wildcat and Zoomerang, which are among the attractions covered by Speedy Pass, a paid virtual-queue add-on.
In autumn the park runs Phantom Fall Fest. During the festival, the haunted houses and scare zones are included with admission, and a new Candy Corn Country Trick-or-Treat Trail adds something for daytime.
Ticket prices depend on when you go: Pick Your Day tickets are cheaper on select days, while the Any Day ticket is sold online only. Every ticket includes a Weather Guarantee: if the park closes because of bad weather, you get a free ticket to come back another day.
The catch for families with teenagers is that they cannot come on their own. Young guests need an adult chaperone to enter at any time, and each chaperone may only bring a limited number of them.
