Duinrell combines an attraction park with the Tikibad, an indoor pool complex with slides and a separate outdoor pool area. How you plan the day depends on which ticket you pick: there are park-only tickets and combinations with either the indoor or the outdoor Tikibad, and an indoor Tikibad ticket gives access only to the indoor pool, not the outdoor one. On Rides by Lights days some attractions stay open into the evening.
Arrive with tickets already bought, because Duinrell does not sell them at the gate. In the park itself, the first aid point is by the bumper boats, and the Tikibad has its own first aid post for swimmers. Families coming by car pay for parking on the way out, at the machines by the exit or contactless at the barriers. The arcade runs on a playcard you buy and top up inside the arcade itself.
The trade-off is the calendar: outside the main season only the winter attractions run, and then only on weekends and during holidays, with a stretch in midwinter when even those are closed.
