The standard ticket at Curaçao Sea Aquarium is more than a walk past tanks: it includes watching the lobsters, sharks and flamingos being fed, plus the Dolphin Training Demonstration. There is a food and beverage terrace and a gift shop on site.
On top of that come paid, bookable experiences. Ocean Lens takes you down a flight of steps into a deep chamber with a large window, either on a short sneak peek or a guided tour, and children in the younger band must be accompanied by a paying adult. Animal Encounters is the other add-on.
The trade-off is age. Both add-ons have a minimum age, so a family with a preschooler and an older child may find that only the older one can join, while the younger one stays with the included programme. Book with timing in mind: a late arrival cancels the reservation without a refund.
