Every visit starts with an online real-name reservation, and the original ID used to book has to be shown at the gate. Seniors and young children are exempt from booking and enter on their ID, and anyone who cannot pay online can try the on-site ticket windows while availability lasts. Children aged six and below, or under 1.3 metres, get in free after an ID check.
Inside, the sightseeing shuttle bus is a separate ticket for everyone over 1.3 metres; smaller children ride free on an adult’s lap, without a seat of their own. The Bamboo Tower is free to enter but needs its own advance online reservation.
The trade-off is that a sighting is not guaranteed: in severe weather, or for conservation or maintenance reasons, some areas may close temporarily or animals may not be visible.
