Blackgang Chine is an amusement park, and lunch is easy to sort out. The Chine Café, the park’s largest restaurant, is a stone’s throw from admissions and the gift shop and serves home-cooked meals, sandwiches and salads alongside lunch packs for children. Elsewhere in the park you will find La Cantina, iScream and Chocabloc, and the park publishes allergen sheets for its food outlets.

Why kids will love it

When you go shapes the day. Captain Jacks, a favourite on event evenings, and the Pirate BBQ, which includes a fully licensed bar for adults, open only during busy periods such as school holidays and event dates. A quieter day means fewer places to eat; a busier one brings more choice along with the crowds that come with school holidays.
