Belmont Park has been open since 1925, and its centrepiece is still the Giant Dipper, a historic coaster that dips and turns with views over the ocean. Around it are bumper cars, spinning rides, a 7D theater, a zipline and a ropes course, plus Tiki Town Mini Golf, a rock wall, Lazer Tag and Escapology San Diego, an escape room recommended for ages 6 and up.
Most rides take either a park pass or ride tickets per ride. The height rules are set ride by ride, and several rides let smaller children on only with a chaperone, who on some rides must also pay. The Zipline also requires a signed waiver and closed-toe shoes. The wristband for taller riders includes all rides and attractions, with two turns on the Zipline. Park hours vary by day.
The one thing to plan around: every ride and attraction is subject to closure without notice, and wristbands are not refundable.
