OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

Hopetoun Falls gives you two very different visits. The upper viewing platform sits next to the car park, so a short stop out of the car is enough to see the falls. Reaching the base is a proper walk: a steep stair path down, and the same stairs back up, which takes longer than the descent. That climb is the trade-off with children, and it is worth deciding before you start down.

Why kids will love it

You can pick the effort on the day: a quick look from the platform beside the car, or the stairs down to the base if everyone has the legs for it.
