Angkor is the archaeological park just outside Siem Reap, and one ticket gives access to all its temples. Which ones you can fit in depends on the pass: a one-day pass covers the Small Circuit, with Angkor Wat, Phnom Bakheng, Bayon and Ta Prohm, while the multi-day passes add the Grand Circuit, which leaves room for slower days and breaks for tired legs. Tickets are only valid when bought from Angkor Enterprise, through its website, app, kiosks, the ticket counter or your tour guide; the multi-day passes need a photo for identification. Buy a next-day ticket late in the afternoon and you can go in that same evening for sunset. Younger children need no ticket, but bring their passport in case you are asked for proof of age. The trade-off is at Angkor Wat itself: the steep steps to the Upper Tower are closed to younger children, so a family with mixed ages may have to split up there.
