OUR FAMILY ASSESSMENT

Family Intelligence

The weather decides more here than the date does. Pre-booking is advised, but tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the gardens are forced to close by extreme weather or other unprecedented problems, so a wet forecast on the day is your risk, not Heligan’s. Look at the forecast before you book rather than after.

Some families pay less. Recipients of Universal Credit or Pension Credit and up to five members of their household get reduced tickets, with proof of eligibility shown on arrival. If you arrive on the Mevagissey ferry, show your ferry ticket at the Ticket Office for a small discount on garden admission.

By car, the main car park has only a limited number of free spaces, given out first come, first served; the overflow car park charges, using number plate recognition.
