Inhotim is large, and how you get around it shapes the day. Paid electric carts run fixed routes across the 140-hectare park; they can be booked in advance with your ticket, otherwise seats depend on availability at Reception. That is the trade-off: the carts reach every corner of the park, but they cost extra per person and are not guaranteed on the day unless booked.
Food outlets are spread through the museum, and you may also bring your own snack and eat outdoors, but only where staff indicate, not inside galleries, near garden artworks, at cart stops or on walkways. Left luggage can be requested at the park reception, and belongings may be security-checked. Wi-Fi for visitors is free.
From Belo Horizonte, Belvitur runs a transfer from the Hotel Holiday Inn in Savassi; it has to be requested and prepaid at least 24 hours ahead on a weekday, cannot be booked on the day of the visit and is non-refundable. If you drive, parking is charged per day, and on the free-entry days it costs half the daily rate.
