The New York Hall of Science is a science museum founded in 1964. A general admission ticket covers all the core exhibits and experiences.
The add-ons are where the day needs a decision. The Science Playground, Rocket Park Mini Golf and the Movie Theatre are not part of general admission, and if you buy them one by one, you can only do so in person at the desk on the day of your visit, not in advance. The alternative is a NYSCI Plus ticket, which bundles all the exhibitions with all three add-ons, so it pays to agree before you arrive which of them the children want.
On Friday afternoons the museum runs Community Hours, with tickets reserved on the day you plan to come.
