Safaripark Beekse Bergen was founded in 1968 and is open every day of the year. The visit is built around different ways of going on safari: a walking safari, a boat safari and the Gamedrive.
Getting around is straightforward. The walking paths are paved, not with asphalt but firm enough that a wheelchair rolls over them easily. Both the walking safari and the boat safari can be done in a wheelchair, and there is an adapted car for the Gamedrive. Wheelchairs can be borrowed at guest services, subject to availability, and a mobility scooter can be booked in advance to be waiting at the entrance.
The thing to budget for is the car. If you drive in, leaving the car park costs an exit ticket on top of admission, so it is worth adding that to the day’s total before you set off, and buying tickets a few days ahead to claw some of it back.
