Lagoon’s admission is broad: the rides, live entertainment, Pioneer Village and the picnic terraces and gardens are all part of it, with Lagoon-A-Beach and Frightmares added in their seasons. The exception is a short list of thrill attractions – Sky Coaster, Catapult and the Double Thunder Raceway go-carts – which are paid for separately on top of admission, so older kids who want them add to the cost of the day.
Outside food and drink are allowed, except in the Biergarten & Restaurant south of the Roller Coaster, and coolers are not allowed inside Lagoon A Beach. With the picnic terraces included in admission, a packed lunch has somewhere to go.
Purses, bags, backpacks, hats, selfie sticks and other loose items are not allowed on rides, so what you carry needs to stay with a non-rider or go into a locker. During Frightmares, Kiddieland keeps no-scare zones, and there are non-scary attractions set aside for young children.
