Yokohama Cosmo World opened in 1990, and walking in costs nothing. You pay for each attraction separately, and children pay the same as adults. There is no unlimited ride pass, so the cost grows with every ride. That is the trade-off for free entry. Bundled ride tickets take a little off the price, and tickets are cash only.
The Diving Coaster Vanish!, Super Planet, Galaxy, Disk-O and Super Flare are for children of elementary-school age and up. The Family Banana Coaster, Great Moon and the Cliff Drop log flume also take younger children, but pre-schoolers and shorter riders need a paying companion. The Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel has no age or height limit, though children below school age ride with a paying companion. The Kids Carnival Zone is open until 19:00 every day the park is open.
You can’t bring food or drink into the park. Cosmo Court sells snacks such as yakisoba, hot dogs and churros. There are baby changing tables, and the baby rest room on the second floor of the Wonder Amuse Zone has no hot water. Pushchairs are not available to rent. The park has no car park of its own and no parking partnership, so drivers use nearby car parks.
