The park is laid out as a set of character lands: DreamWorks’ TrollsFest and Shrek’s Swamp, Puss in Boots Del Mar, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, SpongeBob SquarePants’ Bikini Bottom and the Minions’ Bello Bay Club. Rides are listed one by one with their own height rule, and most of them also ask for a Supervising Companion to ride alongside a smaller child, which is worth settling in your group before anyone splits up for the day.
Services for small children are spread across the park rather than gathered in one spot. Nursing rooms sit at Family Services in Isle of Curiosity, near Guest Services, and at Family Services in Puss in Boots Del Mar. First aid is in Puss and Boots Del Mar and behind the cafe at the front of the park. The Family Services room next to Guest Services also holds a quiet room, an adult changing room, a prayer room and a family restroom. Double strollers can be rented during the visit, subject to availability.
The one thing to plan around is lunch: outside food and drink are held to a short permitted list, which covers bottled water and food needed for medical reasons, nutritional supplements or a special diet, so an ordinary packed lunch stays in the car.
