Disney California Adventure is the second theme park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, founded in 2001 and themed on the state around it. Much of what a family needs is handled at resort level rather than inside this one park: stroller, wheelchair and ECV rentals are all handed out at the same point to the right of the Disneyland Park main entrance, so the pushchair is collected before you reach the California Adventure turnstiles. First-aid nurses are on duty during normal park operating hours, though what they offer is over-the-counter medication, bandages and quick remedies rather than treatment. Restrooms run throughout the resort and most, though not all, contain baby-changing stations. Eating is mostly counter service: pizza and pasta on the Boardwalk, hand-dipped corn dogs, a rotating seasonal menu at Paradise Garden Grill in Paradise Gardens Park. One thing worth sorting before you travel is which kind of evening you are buying. The Halloween party, Oogie Boogie Bash, is not late opening on your day ticket; it is a separate event with its own ticket, sold online ahead of time rather than at the gate, and its add-ons are priced on top of that again.
