Amusement Park

Silverwood Theme Park

Silverwood puts a theme park and the Boulder Beach water park on one site, with a single admission covering both whenever both are open, so a day here can swing between coasters and slides.

Supervision
Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or older.
Swim nappies
Diaper-aged children must wear swim diapers in the water areas; they are sold at the Boulder Beach Trading Company store.
Strollers to rent
Strollers, wheelchairs and electric ECVs are rented at the Information Center on Main Street, first come, first served, with no reservations.
Bringing food
You may bring one soft-sided cooler of 12x12x12 inches with snacks or a personal lunch, plus factory-sealed non-alcoholic drinks.

The two halves run on one ticket, and the thing worth checking before you drive out is whether both are running that day: Boulder Beach keeps its own operating hours, and its facilities, down to the Opal Ridge restrooms at the north end, are open only while the water park is. Once inside, the Information Center on Main Street is where equipment comes from — strollers, wheelchairs and electric ECVs are all rented there, first come, first served, with nothing held back for arrivals later in the day. Lunch can be your own, carried in a soft-sided cooler within the stated size and topped up with factory-sealed drinks. Leaving in the afternoon for a nap in the car does not end your day, provided you get a hand stamp at the exit gate on the way out. Checks are not accepted at any register, most credit cards are, and cash is moved onto a cash band to be spent around the park.

Why kids will love it

Rides on one side, water slides on the other, and a day that can move between them as the weather and the children decide. The youngest go free, and the park expects a grown-up alongside the smaller half of the family. In October the place turns into Scarywood, with haunted attractions, scare zones and the signature rides run in the dark — a different sort of evening altogether.
